uterin (c.1334)

[gdw]

[ FEW: 14,89a uterus; Gdf: ; GdfC: 10,825a uterin; TL: ; DEAF:  uterin; DMF:  utérin; TLF:  utérin; OED:  uterine a. and n.2; MED:  uterine a.; DMLBS: 3573a uterinus ]

The literal sense of uterin is ‘of the womb’ – in this case ‘brothers from the same womb’. Curiously the Latin substantival root, uterus, has no equivalent in Anglo-Norman or Middle French.
