The use of powdered hare genitals as an ingredient in recipes promoting women’s fertility can be found in other texts (see Obstacles 209.91-92 ‘Le marris [et] le nature de lievre prendrés, Vous le seccherés bien et puis poudre ferés’) as well as the use of powdered droppings (see Obstacles 209.95 ‘Crotes de lievre engloute a la fiez en ses flors’) and it seems likely that this citation refers to a similar preparation. It is unclear if this term is an unattested variant and meaning of poussière (DMF poussière; AND pussire) or an unknown euphemism for excrement or genitalia.
