peri (1317)

[ hap]

[ FEW:  petrinus *8,325a; Gdf: ; GdfC: ; TL: ; DEAF:  piere (*); DMF: ; TLF: ; OED: ; MED: ; DMLBS: ]

The term found here seems to require emendation but it is unclear to what the author is referring. It is possible that the word should be read as peri[n], suggesting it is a form of perrin or perrun and thus refers to a stone cell, room or a stone landing, platform. The emendation found in AND1 to p[orc]eri seems unlikely.
