[ gdw]

[ FEW: 9,176b popia; Gdf: 6,239c poçonet; GdfC: ; TL: 7,2045 pochonet; DEAF:  poche 2 (pochonet); DMF:  pochonet; TLF: ; OED:  posnet n.; MED:  possenet n.; DMLBS: 2328a pocenet(t)us ]
pocenet,  pocenette,  pocinet;  poscenet,  poscinet;  posenet,  posnet;  possenet,  possoneit;  pozonet,  pozunet,  postnez;
pl. pocenez,  poscenes,  posenes,  possenes,  possenez,  posceneus  ii 48.87
pl. posseney  ii 65.60

In origin the word is a diminutive of the much less frequent pochun. As is the case in Continental French, the word’s etymological sense of ‘ladle, large spoon’ (cf. FEW 9,176b), already seems to have developed into that of ‘small pot, pan (with a handle (?))’.
