preste1 (1419)

[ gdw]

[ FEW: *9,315a praestare; Gdf: ; GdfC: ; TL: ; DEAF:  prester (*); DMF: ; TLF: ; OED: ; MED: ; DMLBS: ]

This sense is unusual, but derives from the context, assuming that the word is synonymous with the accompanying three nouns: puter, baude and avuiltre. The editor of Lib Alb translates it as ‘unchaste priests’, which seems unlikely.
