The word, translated in the edition as ‘going back to the question of’ and in AND¹ as ‘to revert (in court) to, go back to’, is now interpreted as belonging to the culpa word family. However, as a hapax, the lexeme remains problematic, and it is possible to interpret it either as a form of recuperer or as belonging to recouper¹ (‘to cut off the blood-line’).
