ryme
M.E. (?)

The scribe of Fem2 appears to have misread ruue in the source Bibbesworth manuscript. It is possible the word should be interpreted as representing a borrowing of Middle English rim in the sense of ‘verge, border’, that is, ‘trough at the side of a roadway’.
